USA Federal Credit Union is a member owned, full service, financial cooperative, dedicated to improving members' financial well-being through competitive, convenient, personalized service.

 

History of USA Federal

USA Federal Credit Union began in November 1953, as the Naval Training Center Employees Federal Credit Union. Based in San Diego, the employee organized federal credit union was initially formed to serve the financial needs of our nation's armed services.

 

The name USA Federal Credit Union was adopted in 1987, to better reflect the credit union's growth, expanded field of membership and international presence in the Pacific Rim.

 

A Look at USA Federal Today

In keeping with the community that helped make us, USA Federal remains headquartered in San Diego, California. Today, USA Federal is a non-profit, international credit union with over 61,000 members worldwide and over $700 million in assets — a member-owned financial cooperative with branches in California, Nevada, Japan and Korea.

 

USA Federal is part of the CU Service Centers and CO-OP Network, allowing members the financial freedom to access their accounts at more than 1,500 shared branches and at over 25,000 surcharge-free ATMs worldwide.
